While this may not seem a significant vote, it does give occasion to thank You, Lord, for the health and strength to be here and for the privilege of being chosen to serve the people of Alaska. Amen. Senator Ellis led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance. Certification Senator Mackie moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the fifty-fifth legislative day be approved as certified by the Secretary. Without objection, it was so ordered. Standing Committee Reports SJR 11 The Rules Committee considered SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 11 Urging the Congress of the United States to provide federal education funds as a block grant to the state.
