The Honorable Ted Stevens was escorted to the rostrum and                      
introduced by President Pearce.                                                
                                                                               
United States Senator Ted Stevens delivered his address. This address          
appears in Senate and House Joint Journal Supplement No.14.                    
                                                                               
Following his address, there was a question and answer period. The             
Honorable Senator Ted Stevens received a standing ovation and was              
escorted from the chamber by Senator Tim Kelly and Representative              
Phillips.                                                                      
                                                                               
Senator Leman, Acting Majority Leader, moved and asked unanimous               
consent that the Joint Session stand in adjournment. Without
