make us truthful, honest, and honorable in all things;

make us intellectually honest for the sake of right and honor
and without thought of reward to ourselves.

Give us the ability to be charitable, forgiving, and patient with
our fellowmen -- help us to understand their motives and their
shortcomings -- even as Thou understandest ours! Amen.

	(A favorite prayer of President Harry Truman)

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Croft.
