Without objection, SENATE CS FOR SPONSOR SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 25(HES) was adopted, read the second time and was before the Senate on final passage. Senator Kelly offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 1, lines 3 - 5: Delete all material and insert: "WHEREAS, by the year 2000, according to the United States Bureau of the Census, more than one-half of all Americans will be living in step families instead of nuclear families; and" Senator Kelly moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Without objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. Senators Leman, Duncan moved and asked unanimous consent that they be shown as cross sponsors on the resolution. Without objection, it was so ordered.
