The question being: Shall the Senate concur in the House                       
amendments to CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 244(FIN) am?  The

and so, the Senate concurred in the House amendments, thus                     
adopting HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 244(FIN)                          
am H An Act relating to transportation of public school students;              
relating to school construction grants; relating to state foundation aid       
and supplementary state aid for education; and providing for an                
effective date.                                                                
                                                                               
Senator Halford moved and asked unanimous consent that the vote                
on the passage of the bill be considered the vote on the effective             
date clause.  Senator Donley objected.
