Message of May 12 was read, stating the House passed SENATE                    
BILL NO. 172 "An Act eliminating `monte carlo' nights as an                    
authorized form of charitable gaming; and providing for an effective           
date" with the following amendment:                                            
                                                                               
	Page 2, line 18:                                                              
	Delete "January 1, 1996"                                                      
	Insert  "March 1, 1996"                                                       
                                                                               
and so,                                                                        
                                                                               
SENATE BILL NO. 172(efd am H)                                                 
"An Act eliminating `monte carlo' nights as an                                
authorized form of charitable gaming; and providing                            
for an effective date."                                                        
                                                                               
is returned for consideration.

amendment.
