	Insert new subsection (d)                                                     
		(d) A teacher employed in a school district in this                          
state for four years shall be deemed to have completed the four-               
consecutive-year period; however, a new employing school district              
may, by a majority vote of its school board, provide for a one year            
of nontenured status for the teacher.
