HB 65 Senator Halford, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent that the Finance Committee referral be waived on CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 65(HES) am "An Act establishing a loan guarantee and interest rate subsidy program for assistive technology." Senator Adams objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no further objections, the bill was referred to the Rules Committee. HB 120 Senator Halford, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent that the Finance Committee referral be waived on CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 120(FIN) "An Act relating to public employers defending and indemnifying public employees and former public employees with respect to claims arising out of conduct that is within the scope of employment." Without objection, the bill was referred to the Rules Committee. HB 200 Senator Halford, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent that the Finance Committee referral be waived on HOUSE BILL NO. 200 "An Act reassigning responsibility for the custody of persons pending their arraignments, commitment to the custody of the commissioner of corrections, or admission to a state correctional facility, and authorizing the commissioner of corrections to employ guards for emergencies on the same basis as the commissioner of public safety, as partially exempt service employees; and providing for an effective date."
