Senator Halford moved that the bill be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Senator Duncan objected. Senator Duncan rose to a point of order. President Pearce ruled the point well taken. The question being: "Shall the bill be advanced to third reading?" UNFINISHED BUSINESS HB 74 Senator Halford, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent that the Finance Committee referral be waived on CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 74(FIN) "An Act relating to the assault of children by adults." Without objection, CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 74(FIN) was referred to the Rules Committee.
