Representative Finkelstein moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB217(L&C)am be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 26. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 26 was offered by Representative Finkelstein: Page 2, line 9, after "years": Insert "; or has been employed as a teacher in the same district continuously for a period equal in length to four full school years, whether or not the period begins on the first day of the school year, and is reemployed on the school year day immediately following completion of the four-consecutive-school-year period" Page 2, line 12: Delete "four [TWO] full school years" Insert "four-consecutive-school-year period [TWO FULL SCHOOL YEARS]" Representative Finkelstein moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 26 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered.
