HJR 31                                                                       
The Speaker added a House Special Committee on World Trade and                 
State/Federal Relations referral to precede the Finance referral to the

HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 31                                                 
Urging the United States Congress to consider and enact                       
legislation to revise the Internal Revenue Code to levy a flat tax.            
                                                                               
HJR 31 was removed from the Finance Committee and sent to the                  
House Special Committee on World Trade and State/Federal Relations,            
with a Finance Committee referral to follow.                                   
                                                                               
HJR 37                                                                       
The Speaker added a House Special Committee on World Trade and                 
State/Federal Relations referral to precede the State Affairs Committee

Urging Congress to enact legislation to implement the President's             
proposed increase in the National Minimum Wage Standard.                       
                                                                               
HJR 37 was removed from the State Affairs Committee and sent to the

with State Affairs, Labor & Commerce and Finance Committee
