Chapter 40, SLA 1993 Effective Date: 5/28/93 SB 165 Governor's transmittal letter dated June 1: Dear President Halford: On this date I have signed, with line item vetoes (and reductions), the following bill and am transmitting the engrossed and enrolled copies to the Lieutenant Governor's Office for permanent filing: CONFERENCE CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 165 "An Act making an appropriation to the Alyeska Settlement Fund and making appropriations from the Alyeska Settlement Fund; making, amending, and repealing operating and capital appropriations; and providing for an effective date." Chapter 41, SLA 1993 Effective Date: See Chapter I approved funding for nearly all of the appropriations in this legislation. The fiscal year 1993 supplemental appropriations are less than $40 million, an amount far less than the levels required in recent years. I commend the departments and Legislature for keeping current year expenditures in check.
