Senator Sharp moved for the adoption of the Letter of Intent.                  
Senator Kerttula objected.                                                     
                                                                               
The question being: "Shall the Letter of Intent be adopted?"  The

Senator Adams moved that CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 106(FIN)                       
be returned to second reading for the purpose of a specific                    
amendment, that being Amendment No. 9.  Senator Taylor objected.               
Senator Adams moved and asked unanimous consent that his motion                
be withdrawn.  Without objection, it was so ordered.

Page 1, line 1, after "Act":                                                 
	Delete "establishing the energy authority revolving fund;                    
repealing the rural electrification revolving loan fund and the                
bulk fuel revolving loan fund; relating to procurements for                    
certain transmission lines; authorizing"                                      
	Insert "relating to energy projects, programs, and funds,                    
to administration of energy projects, programs, and funds, and                 
to funding for energy projects and programs; relating to"                     
                                                                               
Page 1, lines 6-7:                                                             
	Delete "and approving the design and construction costs                      
of the interties"
