Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President            
Halford at 11:28 a.m.                                                          
                                                                               
The roll showed sixteen members present.  Senator Lincoln was                  
excused from a call of the Senate.  Senators Adams, Ellis, Jacko               
were absent.                                                                   
                                                                               
The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor Kermit Wilson of the            
First Church of God.                                                           
                                                                               
Senator Little led the Senate in the pledge of allegiance.                     
                                                                               
The presence of Senator Ellis was noted.

Senator Rieger, Acting Majority Leader, moved and asked unanimous              
consent that the journal for the sixty-fourth legislative day be               
approved as certified by the Secretary.  Without objection, it was so
