Legislative Resolve No. 23 Letter of February 22 was read, requesting withdrawal of Mr. Elmo Kienbaum of Ketchikan for consideration of legislative confirmation to the Board of Barbers and Hairdressers. Regrettably, Mr. Kienbaum passed away on February 13, 1994. MESSAGES FROM THE HOUSE Message of February 24 was read, stating the House passed and transmitted for consideration: FIRST READING AND REFERENCE OF HOUSE BILLS HB 61 CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 61(FIN) am BY THE HOUSE FINANCE COMMITTEE, entitled: "An Act relating to the offense of operating a commercial motor vehicle while intoxicated and the offense of operating a motor vehicle, aircraft, or watercraft while intoxicated; relating to presumptions arising from the amount of alcohol in a person's breath or blood; relating to chemical testing of a person's breath; and providing for an effective date." was read the first time and referred to the Transportation, State Affairs, Judiciary and Finance Committees. Senator Leman was added as a cross sponsor on CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 61(FIN) am.
