confirmation of the appointments by the Governor:

as a member of the Commission on Judicial Conduct.                             
                                                                               
                                Will E. Dam, Sr.                               
                                                                               
as a member of the Board of Governors of the Alaska Bar Association.           
                                                                               
                               Carol B. Eastaugh                               
                                                                               
as a member of the Violent Crimes Compensation Board.                          
                                                                               
                                  John Salemi                                  
                                                                               
as a Public Defender.                                                          
                                                                               
The reports were signed by Representative Porter, Chair;                       
Representative James, Vice Chair; and Representatives Kott, Green,             
Nordlund and Phillips.                                                         
                                                                               
The reports stated that though there were no stated objections by              
committee members to the confirmation of the named individuals, this           
does not reflect an intent by any of the members to vote for or against
