01 "An Act relating to preparation of the jury list."                                                                      
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 09.20.050(b) is amended to read:                                                                 
04 (b)  The jury list shall be based on a list prepared by the Department of                                               
05 Revenue of all persons who filed an application for a distribution of Alaska permanent                                  
06 fund income under AS 43.23 during the current calendar year that shows an Alaska                                        
07 address, and of all persons who volunteer for jury duty under (d) of this section. If                                   
08 considered necessary by the administrative director of the Alaska Court System, the                                     
09 jury list shall incorporate a list prepared by the Department of Administration of all                                  
10 persons who hold a valid Alaska driver's license, or a list prepared by the division of                             
11 elections of all persons who have registered to vote in this state. The departments                                 
12 and the division of elections shall submit their respective lists to the Alaska Court                               
13 System not later than September 30 of each year. To the extent that it is available, the                                
14 departments and the division of elections shall include on the lists they submit the                                
15 following information for each person: first name, middle initial, and last name;                                       

01       mailing address, including the zip code; and birth date.
