01 "An Act authorizing the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation to acquire or purchase a                                     
02 building that it occupies for an amount that does not exceed $9,000,000; and providing                                  
03 for an effective date."                                                                                                 
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section                          
06 to read:                                                                                                                
07 AUTHORIZING THE ALASKA HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION TO                                                                   
08 ACQUIRE OR PURCHASE A BUILDING. (a) The Alaska Housing Finance Corporation is                                           
09 authorized to acquire or purchase the building that it currently occupies located at 700 Bragaw                         
10 Street, Anchorage, Alaska, for an amount that does not exceed $9,000,000.                                               
11       (b)  This section constitutes the approval required by AS 18.55.100(d) and                                        
12 AS 18.56.090(d) for the acquisition or purchase described in (a) of this section.                                       
13    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
