00 SENATE BILL NO. 150 01 "An Act establishing the second Monday of September of each year as Truck Driver 02 Appreciation Day." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. AS 44.12 is amended by adding a new section to article 2 to read: 05 Sec. 44.12.185. Truck Driver Appreciation Day. Truck Driver Appreciation 06 Day is established on the second Monday of September of each year. Truck Driver 07 Appreciation Day may be observed by suitable observances and exercises by civic 08 groups and the public.
