01 "An Act relating to electronic pull-tabs."                                                                              
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 05.15.690(38) is amended to read:                                                                  
04 (38)  "pull-tab game" means a game of chance where a card, or                                                       
05 electronic representation of a card, the face of which is covered to conceal a                                      
06 number, symbol, or set of symbols, is purchased by the participant and where a prize                                    
07 is awarded for a card, or electronic representation of a card, containing certain                                   
08       numbers or symbols designated in advance and at random;                                                           
09    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
10 read:                                                                                                                   
11       REGULATIONS. The Department of Revenue may adopt regulations necessary to                                         
12 implement this Act.
