01 "An Act extending the special education service agency; and providing for an effective

03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 44.66.010(a)(6) is amended to read:                                                                
05                 (6)  special education service agency (AS 14.30.600) - June 30, 2029                                
06       [JUNE 30, 2021];                                                                                                  
07    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
08 read:                                                                                                                   
09       RETROACTIVITY. Section 1 of this Act is retroactive to June 30, 2021.                                             
10    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
