00                   HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 8                                                                    
01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                         
02 Legislature, concerning Senate Joint Resolution No. 16, calling on President Biden to                                   
03 immediately seek and secure an end to the embargo imposed by Russia on seafood                                          
04 imports from abroad so that Alaska seafood producers' access to the Russian domestic                                    
05 seafood market is fully restored.                                                                                       
06 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
07 That under Rules 49(a) and 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the                                       
08 provisions of Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                      
09 Legislature, regarding changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of Senate                         
10 Joint Resolution No. 16, calling on President Biden to immediately seek and secure an end to                            
11 the embargo imposed by Russia on seafood imports from abroad so that Alaska seafood                                     
12 producers' access to the Russian domestic seafood market is fully restored.
