01 "An Act making an appropriation from the earnings reserve account for the payment of                                    
02 a permanent fund dividend; and providing for an effective date."                                                        
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. ALASKA PERMANENT FUND. The amount necessary for payment of a                                          
05 permanent fund dividend of $500 and for administrative and associated costs, estimated to be                            
06 $355,000,000, is appropriated from the earnings reserve account (AS 37.13.145) to the                                   
07 dividend fund (AS 43.23.045(a)) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022.                                               
08    * Sec. 2. LAPSE OF APPROPRIATION. The appropriation made in sec. 1 of this Act is for                              
09 the capitalization of a fund and does not lapse.                                                                        
10    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect July 1, 2021.
