01 "An Act relating to the campuses of the University of Alaska; and providing for an                                      
02 effective date."                                                                                                        
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 14.40.040 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                           
05 (c)  After June 30, 2023, the Board of Regents of the University of Alaska may                                          
06 operate only Kodiak College, Prince William Sound College, Bristol Bay Campus,                                          
07 Chukchi Campus, Interior Alaska Campus, Kuskokwim Campus, Northwest Campus,                                             
08 College of Rural and Community Development, and Ketchikan Campus as virtual                                             
09 vocational learning centers and higher education portals to distance learning curricula                                 
10       from learning centers throughout the University of Alaska system.                                                 
11    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect July 1, 2020.
