01 "An Act relating to the development and operation of a hydroelectric site at the                                        
02 Nuyakuk River Falls; providing for the amendment of the management plan for the                                         
03 Wood-Tikchik State Park; and providing for an effective date."                                                          
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. AS 41.21.167(c) is amended to read:                                                                   
06            (c)  Development and operation of a hydroelectric site at Lake Elva, [OR]                                
07       Grant Lake, or the Nuyakuk River Falls is not considered an incompatible use.                                 
08    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
09 read:                                                                                                                   
10 WOOD-TIKCHIK STATE PARK MANAGEMENT PLAN. The Wood-Tikchik State                                                         
11 Park Management Council shall, with the advice and assistance of the Department of Natural                              
12 Resources, amend the management plan for the Wood-Tikchik State Park to conform with the                                
13 change to AS 41.21.167 made in sec. 1 of this Act.                                                                      
14    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
