01 "An Act making special appropriations from the earnings reserve account for the                                         
02 payment of permanent fund dividends; and providing for an effective date."                                              
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. ALASKA PERMANENT FUND. (a) The sum of $683,000,000 is appropriated                                    
05 from the earnings reserve account (AS 37.13.145) to the dividend fund (AS 43.23.045(a)) for                             
06 the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020, for the payment of supplemental 2016 permanent fund                               
07 dividends to eligible individuals who received a 2016 permanent fund dividend.                                          
08       (b)  The sum of $826,000,000 is appropriated from the earnings reserve account                                    
09 (AS 37.13.145) to the dividend fund (AS 43.23.045(a)) for the fiscal year ending June 30,                               
10 2020, for the payment of supplemental 2017 permanent fund dividends to eligible individuals                             
11 who received a 2017 permanent fund dividend.                                                                            
12 (c)  The sum of $888,000,000 is appropriated from the earnings reserve account                                          
13 (AS 37.13.145) to the dividend fund (AS 43.23.045(a)) for the fiscal year ending June 30,                               
14 2020, for the payment of supplemental 2018 permanent fund dividends to eligible individuals                             

01 who received a 2018 permanent fund dividend.                                                                            
02    * Sec. 2. CONTINGENCIES. (a) The appropriation made in sec. 1(a) of this Act is                                    
03 contingent on passage by the Thirty-First Alaska State Legislature and enactment into law                               
04 before June 30, 2019, of a bill directing the commissioner of revenue to pay a supplemental                             
05 2016 permanent fund dividend.                                                                                           
06       (b)  The appropriation made in sec. 1(b) of this Act is contingent on passage by the                              
07 Thirty-First Alaska State Legislature and enactment into law before June 30, 2019, of a bill                            
08 directing the commissioner of revenue to pay a supplemental 2017 permanent fund dividend.                               
09 (c)  The appropriation made in sec. 1(c) of this Act is contingent on passage by the                                    
10 Thirty-First Alaska State Legislature and enactment into law before June 30, 2019, of a bill                            
11 directing the commissioner of revenue to pay a supplemental 2018 permanent fund dividend.                               
12    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
