00                  SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 401                                                                  
01 Suspending Rules 47 and 55, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, relating to                                  
02 the carry-over of bills from the First Regular Session to the Fourth Special Session,                                   
03 concerning Senate Bill No. 54.                                                                                          
04 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
05 That under Rule 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the provisions of                                    
06 Rule 47 of the Uniform Rules regarding the carry-over of bills and the provisions of Rule 55                            
07 of the Uniform Rules regarding the use of Mason's Manual of Legislative Procedure to cover                              
08 situations not directly addressed by the Uniform Rules are suspended in consideration of                                
09 Senate Bill No. 54 – An Act relating to crime and criminal law; relating to violation of                                
10 condition of release; relating to sex trafficking; relating to sentencing; relating to                                  
11 imprisonment; relating to parole; relating to probation; relating to driving without a license;                         
12 and relating to the pretrial services program.
