00 HOUSE BILL NO. 347 01 "An Act providing a process for allowing a school in a regional educational attendance 02 area to transfer to a contiguous regional educational attendance area." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. AS 14.08.031 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 05 (e) A school in a regional educational attendance area may transfer to a 06 contiguous regional educational attendance area if the regional school board for the 07 regional educational attendance area in which the school is located votes to transfer 08 the school to the contiguous regional educational attendance area and the regional 09 school board for the contiguous regional educational attendance area votes to approve 10 the transfer.
