00 CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 318(FIN) 01 "An Act extending the termination date of the Board of Social Work Examiners; 02 relating to the composition of the Board of Social Work Examiners; and providing for 03 an effective date." 04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 05 * Section 1. AS 08.03.010(c)(21) is amended to read: 06 (21) Board of Social Work Examiners (AS 08.95.010) - June 30, 2026 07 [2018]; 08 * Sec. 2. AS 08.95.010(a) is amended to read: 09 (a) There is created the Board of Social Work Examiners composed of five 10 members, as follows: one member licensed under this chapter as a baccalaureate social 11 worker; one member licensed under this chapter as a master social worker; two 12 members licensed under this chapter as clinical social workers; and one public 13 member who has never been licensed under this chapter. At least one of the licensed 14 members must be a person who is not an employee of a federal, state, or local
01 government [OR OF A PRIVATE NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT IS 02 EXEMPT FROM FEDERAL INCOME TAX]. 03 * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
