01 "An Act disapproving all recommendations of the State Officers Compensation                                             
02 Commission relating to the compensation, benefits, and allowances of state officers; and                                
03 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section                          
06 to read:                                                                                                                
07 DISAPPROVAL OF THE STATE OFFICERS COMPENSATION COMMISSION'S                                                             
08 RECOMMENDATIONS. The recommendations contained in the final report of the State                                         
09 Officers Compensation Commission relating to the compensation, benefits, and allowances of                              
10 members of the legislature, the governor, the lieutenant governor, and each principal                                   
11 executive department head, made available under AS 39.23.540(d) to the governor and                                     
12 presiding officers of each house of the legislature during the Second Regular Session of the                            
13 Thirtieth Alaska State Legislature, are disapproved.                                                                    
14    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
