00 SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 299(FIN) 01 "An Act relating to terms of office for members of the Alcoholic Beverage Control 02 Board; relating to the authority of the director of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board; 03 extending the termination date of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board; relating to the 04 application of precedent to decisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board; and 05 providing for an effective date." 06 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 07 * Section 1. AS 04.06.030 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 08 (d) A member who has served all or part of three successive terms on the 09 board may not be reappointed to the board unless three years have elapsed since the 10 person has last served on the board. 11 * Sec. 2. AS 04.06.075 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 12 (b) The director is not a member of the board and may not vote on a matter 13 before the board.
01 * Sec. 3. AS 44.66.010(a)(1) is amended to read: 02 (1) Alcoholic Beverage Control Board (AS 04.06.010) - June 30, 2022 03 [2018]; 04 * Sec. 4. AS 04.11.537 is repealed. 05 * Sec. 5. 3 AAC 304.025(c) is annulled. 06 * Sec. 6. Section 3 of this Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
