01 "An Act relating to the authority of the director of the Alcoholic Beverage Control                                     
02 Board; extending the termination date of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board;                                          
03 relating to the application of precedent to decisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Control                                 
04 Board; and providing for an effective date."                                                                            
05 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
06    * Section 1. AS 04.06.075 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                           
07            (b)  The director is not a member of the board and may not vote on a matter                                  
08       before the board.                                                                                                 
09    * Sec. 2. AS 44.66.010(a)(1) is amended to read:                                                                   
10                 (1)  Alcoholic Beverage Control Board (AS 04.06.010) - June 30, 2022                                
11       [2018];                                                                                                           
12    * Sec. 3.  AS 04.11.537 is repealed.                                                                               
13    * Sec. 4. 3 AAC 304.025(c) is annulled.                                                                            
14    * Sec. 5. Section 2 of this Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
