01 Establishing a Senate Special Committee on Energy.

03 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE:                                                                                         
04      WHEREAS energy is one of the most significant issues of the state;                                               
05      BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate that a Senate Special Committee on Energy is                                        
06 established to examine and take appropriate action on issues relating to energy use and energy                          
07 development in Alaska; and be it                                                                                        
08      FURTHER RESOLVED that the President of the Senate shall determine the number                                     
09 of senators to be members of the committee and shall appoint the members and designate a                                
10 member or members to chair the committee; and be it                                                                     
11      FURTHER RESOLVED that the Senate Special Committee on Energy may meet                                            
12 during and between sessions of the Twenty-Ninth Alaska State Legislature and is terminated                              
13 on the convening of the First Regular Session of the Thirtieth Alaska State Legislature.
