00                         SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 3                                                                        
01 Establishing a Senate Special Committee on Energy.                                                                      
02 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE:                                                                                           
03       WHEREAS energy is one of the most significant issues of the state;                                              
04       BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate that a Senate Special Committee on Energy is                                       
05 established to examine and take appropriate action on issues relating to energy use and energy                          
06 development in Alaska; and be it                                                                                        
07       FURTHER RESOLVED that the President of the Senate shall determine the number                                    
08 of senators to be members of the committee and shall appoint the members and designate a                                
09 member or members to chair the committee; and be it                                                                     
10       FURTHER RESOLVED that the Senate Special Committee on Energy may meet                                           
11 during and between sessions of the Twenty-Ninth Alaska State Legislature and is terminated                              
12 on the convening of the First Regular Session of the Thirtieth Alaska State Legislature.
