00 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 26 01 Urging the executive branch of state government and the judicial branch of state 02 government to standardize all financial charts and graphs; and urging the Legislative 03 Finance Division to review the formatting of financial charts and graphs used in 04 committee hearings. 05 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 06 WHEREAS the Alaska State Legislature is empowered with the authority to 07 appropriate state funds under the Constitution of the State of Alaska; and 08 WHEREAS the Alaska State Legislature, the executive branch of state government, 09 and the judicial branch of state government should provide financial information in an 10 efficient, clear, and concise manner; and 11 WHEREAS all financial charts and graphs presented in any committee or 12 subcommittee of the Alaska State Legislature should be standardized; and 13 WHEREAS all financial charts and graphs used in any committee or subcommittee of 14 the Alaska State Legislature should be dated and clearly state who developed the financial 15 chart or graph;
01 BE IT RESOLVED that the Alaska State Legislature urges the executive branch of 02 state government and the judicial branch of state government to standardize all financial 03 charts and graphs and urges the Legislative Finance Division to review all financial charts and 04 graphs for standardized formatting before use in any committee or subcommittee hearing.
