03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 35.40 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                  
05            Sec. 35.40.147. Nels Hitchcock Bridge. Bridge number 1179 on the Glenn                                   
06       Highway over Caribou Creek is named the Nels Hitchcock Bridge.
