01 "An Act relating to the authority of the Board of Fisheries and the Board of Game to                                    
02 adopt, amend, or repeal regulations."                                                                                   
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 16.05.241 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                           
05            (b)  Notwithstanding another provision of this chapter, the boards may adopt,                                
06       amend, or repeal a regulation only if that regulation, or the amendment or repeal of                              
07       that regulation, was initially recommended by                                                                     
08                 (1)  an advisory committee established under AS 16.05.260;                                              
09                 (2)  a state agency; or                                                                                 
10                 (3)  a person petitioning the boards under AS 44.62.220.
