01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature,                            
02 concerning House Joint Resolution No. 15, supporting the introduction and enactment of                                  
03 federal legislation acknowledging that the federal government is financially responsible under                          
04 the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act for the remediation of contaminated land subject to                             
05 conveyance under the Act.

07 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                             
08      That under Rules 49(a) and 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the                                  
09 provisions of Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                      
10 Legislature, regarding changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of House                          
11 Joint Resolution No. 15, supporting the introduction and enactment of federal legislation                               
12 acknowledging that the federal government is financially responsible under the Alaska Native                            
13 Claims Settlement Act for the remediation of contaminated land subject to conveyance under                              
14 the Act.
