01 "An Act extending the termination date of the Department of Transportation and Public                                   
02 Facilities' interim project authorization regarding naturally occurring asbestos; and                                   
03 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska enacted in sec. 4(c), ch. 13, SLA                           
06 2012, is amended to read:                                                                                               
07            (c)  The authority granted by (a) and (b) of this section expires December 31,                               
08       2014 [2013].                                                                                                  
09    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
10 read:                                                                                                                   
11       RETROACTIVITY. Section 1 of this Act is retroactive to January 1, 2014.                                           
12    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
