01 Disapproving all recommendations of the State Officers Compensation Commission relating                                 
02 to the salaries of state officers; and providing for an effective date.

04    * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section                          
05 to read:                                                                                                                
06       DISAPPROVAL OF THE STATE OFFICERS COMPENSATION COMMISSION'S                                                       
07 RECOMMENDATIONS. The recommendations contained in the final report of the State                                         
08 Officers Compensation Commission relating to the salaries of the governor, the lieutenant                               
09 governor, and each principal executive department head, made available under                                            
10 AS 39.23.540(d) to the governor and presiding officers of each house of the legislature during                          
11 the Second Regular Session of the Twenty-Eighth Alaska State Legislature, are disapproved.                              
12    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
