01 "An Act disapproving all recommendations of the State Officers Compensation                                             
02 Commission relating to the salaries of state officers; and providing for an effective                                   
03 date."                                                                                                                  
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section                          
06 to read:                                                                                                                
07       DISAPPROVAL OF THE STATE OFFICERS COMPENSATION COMMISSION'S                                                       
08 RECOMMENDATIONS. The recommendations contained in the final report of the State                                         
09 Officers Compensation Commission relating to the salaries of the governor, the lieutenant                               
10 governor, and each principal executive department head, made available under                                            
11 AS 39.23.540(d) to the governor and presiding officers of each house of the legislature during                          
12 the Second Regular Session of the Twenty-Eighth Alaska State Legislature, are disapproved.                              
13    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
