01 "An Act extending the termination date of the authority of the Commercial Fisheries                                     
02 Entry Commission to maintain a vessel-based limited entry fisheries system for the                                      
03 weathervane scallop and Bering Sea hair crab fisheries; and providing for an effective                                  
04 date by amending the effective date under sec. 28, ch. 137, SLA 2002."                                                  
05 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
06    * Section 1. Section 28, ch. 137, SLA 2002, as amended by sec. 3, ch. 69, SLA 2008, is                             
07 amended to read:                                                                                                        
08            Sec. 28. Sections 5, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, and 27 of this Act take effect                              
09       December 30, 2018 [2013].                                                                                     
10    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
11 read:                                                                                                                   
12       RETROACTIVITY. If sec. 1 of this Act takes effect on or after December 30, 2013, it                               
13 is retroactive to December 30, 2013.
