00                   HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 30                                                                   
01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                         
02 Legislature, concerning Senate Bill No. 145, relating to the Teachers' Retirement                                       
03 System, the Judicial Retirement System, and the Public Employees' Retirement System                                     
04 for qualified military service; and relating to the definition of "veteran" for purposes of                             
05 housing, eligibility for veterans' loans, and preferences in state employment hiring.                                   
06 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
07       That under Rule 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the provisions of                              
08 Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, regarding                             
09 changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of Senate Bill No. 145, relating to                      
10 the Teachers' Retirement System, the Judicial Retirement System, and the Public Employees'                              
11 Retirement System for qualified military service; and relating to the definition of "veteran" for                       
12 purposes of housing, eligibility for veterans' loans, and preferences in state employment                               
13 hiring.
