01 "An Act relating to confidentiality of performance review records and reports of the                                    
02 legislative audit division; and providing for an effective date."                                                       
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 24.20.301(a) is amended to read:                                                                   
05            (a)  The legislative audit division shall keep a complete file of all audit reports,                     
06       performance review reports, and other reports or releases issued by the division, and                         
07       a complete file of audit work papers, performance review work papers, and other                               
08       related supportive material. The division shall also keep a complete and accurate                                 
09       record of all fiscal transactions involving the division. Audit records and                                   
10       performance review records are confidential and audit reports and performance                                 
11       review reports are confidential unless the report has been approved for release under                             
12       AS 24.20.311.                                                                                                     
13    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
