AS 44.19.020 is amended by adding new subsections to read: 23 (b) The House of Wickersham in Juneau is designated as the official residence 24 of the lieutenant governor. The House of Wickersham shall be 25 (1) used as the living quarters for the lieutenant governor and as a 26 place for the conduct of official and ceremonial duties of the lieutenant governor, and 27 shall be available for use by the Alaska Historical Commission established under 28 AS 41.35.300; 29 (2) managed to maintain its historical integrity; and 30 (3) shall be available for public tours and events. 31 (c) If the House of Wickersham is not used as the primary residence of the

01 lieutenant governor and the lieutenant governor is in Juneau for state business, the 02 lieutenant governor may claim per diem, but shall reimburse the state for the cost of 03 accommodations.
