01 "An Act making state compliance with a federal law, regulation, or presidential                                         
02 executive order contingent on receipt of certain information from the federal                                           
03 government."                                                                                                            
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. AS 01.10 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                  
06                     Article 5. Laws of the United States.                                                             
07            Sec. 01.10.200. Compliance with federal law. The state may not comply with                                 
08       a federal law, regulation, or presidential executive order until the appropriate branch                           
09       or agency of the federal government provides to the applicable state agency, to the                               
10       governor, and to the legislature a written description of                                                         
11                 (1)  how compliance with the federal law, regulation, or presidential                                   
12       executive order will be accomplished; and                                                                         
13                 (2)  the economic effect the federal law, regulation, or presidential                                   
14       executive order will have on each community affected by the federal law, regulation,
