01 "An Act requiring legislative approval for the Department of Natural Resources to                                       
02 implement a hunting guide concession program or otherwise limit the number of                                           
03 individuals authorized to conduct big game commercial guiding on state land."                                           
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. AS 38.05.030 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                           
06            (h)  The provisions of this chapter do not authorize the department to                                       
07       implement a hunting guide concession program or otherwise limit the number of                                     
08       individuals authorized to conduct big game commercial guiding on state land without                               
09       legislative approval.
