00                         HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 2                                                                         
01 Relating to establishing a House Special Committee on Energy.                                                           
02 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:                                                                         
03       WHEREAS energy is one of the most significant issues of the state;                                              
04       BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives that a House Special Committee                                   
05 on Energy is established to study issues relating to energy use and energy development; and                             
06 be it                                                                                                                   
07       FURTHER RESOLVED that the speaker of the House of Representatives shall                                         
08 determine the number of representatives to be members of the committee and shall appoint                                
09 the members and designate a member to chair the committee; and be it                                                    
10       FURTHER RESOLVED that the House Special Committee on Energy may meet                                            
11 during and between sessions of the Twenty-Seventh Alaska State Legislature and is                                       
12 terminated on the convening of the First Regular Session of the Twenty-Eighth Alaska State                              
13 Legislature.
