02 Development to conduct a national marketing campaign to promote natural resource                                        
03 development on federal land in the state."                                                                              
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. AS 44.33.020(a) is amended by adding a new paragraph to read:                                       
06                 (45)  establish and conduct an annual national marketing campaign,                                      
07       which may include contracts with advertising and marketing businesses, designed to                                
08       promote natural resource development on federal land in the state.
