01 "An Act exempting certain emergency medical and fire department services from                                           
02 regulation as insurance."                                                                                               
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 21.03.021 is amended by adding new subsections to read:                                            
05            (f)  This title does not apply to the solicitation by a municipality or nonprofit                            
06       organization to provide ambulance and emergency services under the terms of an                                    
07       agreement.                                                                                                        
08            (g)  This title does not apply to a solicitation by a municipality or nonprofit fire                         
09       department registered with the state fire marshal to provide fire protection services                             
10       under the terms of an agreement.
